Last weekend I was so happy about my computer. I thought I had made the change successfully. Monday I tried to write some stuff. By Monday afternoon, three programs had misbehaved. Two more wouldn’t work during the week. I have now gone back to the old version of one program (which works), upgraded another (at least that was free), bought a third, and discovered a workaround for the fourth. That leaves only one problem to fix. I hope I will find a way to make what I have do what I need before I buy a new program.
So this post completely skipped my mind until about midnight last night. Clearly this is a time for stressless needlepoint. And I even have some — a Tent Stitch project that is small. I hope o finish that today and get most of what’s left on another project done.
Then I’ll be able to face whatever problems the computer coughs up this week.
