Although the game was excellent last Sunday I did get some work done on my kitty canvas. To keep the focus on the snow kitty I stitched it in metallic. The remainder of the snow will be stitched in T Stitch using white Walsh silk/wool and grey Gloriana cashmere.
I want to point out the bushes. From a distance the bushes look like they are single colors. In fact each is multiple colors. Areas like this work really great with scraps of thread and multi-colored threads. Iu’ve pulled a bunch of them to make the bushes look realistic.
But this weekend I plan on finishing the snow and adding the details to the snow man.
With the Olympics on right now (I love curling and hockey) and us being mostly confined to quarters, I should get plenty of stitching done this week. I need to to get caught up!
