
This idea for stitching stained glass is on Colour Complements blog. I love it! The stitcher made them as Hearts for Hospice, but you don’t have to do that, although it’s great if you do. The stitcher had lots of partially used skeins of hand-dyed thread. She divided the space up randomly with straight lines in a solid dark color. Then she filled them up with stitches in her leftover threads.
You don’t have to use hearts, this idea can be applied to any shape. It’s such a great idea for leftover threads
