I’ve got nothing for the blog for today. I think it’s because lockdown is finally getting to me. It’s not that in my pre-virus life I went out much (MS and not having a driver’s license will do that), but I went to Mass on Sundays, where chatting with my friends after Mass was sometimes as long as the service itself. I went to Physical Therapy and for date night after every other week. We went grocery shopping or out to lunch.
It wasn’t going out every day, but it was regular and had me interacting with the world.
Since March 18 very little of this has been happening. It’s not that I don’t love my stitching and my quiet life. Right now, in Northern California where I live, shops are starting to open up and some restaurants (mostly those with outside seating0, but my PT won’t open until, maybe, June 1. There is no starting date for Masses and so even my tiny Latin Mass community where on an amazingly good Sunday we have 50 people and we practiced social distancing before it was even a term, there is no Mass.
I’m sad, I’m bored, and even exciting needlepoint prospects are not alluring.
I think I’ll go sit outside.
How are you dealing with two= months of lockdown?

Interested in the name of the stitch you used on the globe, very different.
I have been stitching everyday to keep positive and taking one day at a time, eventually this will have
to end, that’s what keeps me going.

The stitch is T Stitch, my all-time favorite stitch. I use it on almost every canvas. I took most of yesterday to read & got back to stitching (on another globe) last night.
Keep stitching,
Janet
