A lovely finishing touch for needlepoint is a beaded fringe. One of the easiest forms of needlepoint beading it can be used in many places.
I recently bought a vintage canvas by Sally Did It that calls for a beaded fringe. Helpfully, it has a bit already done and stitched onto the canvas.
Most of the time, though, weare left to our own devices when we want to do this. But that is no longer the case, thanks to Louise’s Needlepoint. In a recent newsletter they have a fantastic, illustrated tutorial on creating beaded fringe.
