Coming up this fall will be lots of new products. Several designers have made announcements of new canvases and threads. Today’s post covers these.
Penny MacLeod has two new flower canvases. One has pastel daisies on diamonds. The other has flowers in orange, red, and pink. The Anderson Design Group has come out with stunning canvases of their National Park canvases in a great retro style. I’,m not sure who is licensing and distributing the designs. I just love these.Needlepoint.com’s exclusive kits has introduced a series of blue and white canvases with sayings from Jane Austen.
Zecca has a lovely new canvas of an ibis walking among lotuses. It’s modern with a nod to Ancient Eygpt. Kimberly Ann has a new patriotic clutch canvas in the popular grid style. Jessica Tongel has new canvases of Pez candy (three colors) and Bazooka Bubble Gum. She also has several canvases inspired by her recent trip to Maine. New from Raymond Crawford are Lady Liberty canvases showing her head on brigt colors — very Andy Warhol! He also has new candy canes with bows and new Broadway shows.
New colors from Rainbow Gallery include eight new colors in all three sizes, plus one additional color in 13 & 18. Eyelash, Grandeur, and Angora each have two new colors. Rainbow Linen has six new colors. Planet Earth has more new self-finishing leather products. These include zip and snap wallets, and a charming wristlet with a leather tassel. If you like acrylic trays, these are now available in white and black as well as clear.
Melissa Shirley has many lovely new canvases. New from Mary Lake Thompson are two fall basket canvases. One features an arrangement of lovely fall leaves. The other has sunflowers and fall vegetables in a wooden crate. Also new are stunning small individual heirloom roses, done in a realistic style. Two Christmas arrangement canvases have a watering can and a Santa mug as vases. There are new patterned hearts in Valentine’s and fall colors. Finally, a new series of acorns is in a lovely combination of muted gold, burgundy, and muted blue.
SG Designs has a new canvas of the top of a fancy Peppermint Bark box. I know someone who would go nuts for this canvas. Poppy’s Designs has new canvases for French macaron lovers. The famous baker Ladurée is seen as the logo, a box in their signature pale green, and a charming dessert cart. Rachel Barri has new purse strap designs in several colors as well a new sayings canvases. She also has new small canvases of cooking utensils.
Alice & Blue is celebrating pick-your-own farms with canvases of blueberries, apples, and strawberries. New from SilverStitch is a champagne canvas with the word in rainbow colors. A new designer just showing up in shops is Over the Hill. They have great colorful canvases including origami dinosaurs, gummi bears, and Care Bears canvases. Keep a lookout for them. Kangaroo Paw has a wonderful new style for their state canvases — Madras plaid! So far I have only seen one state but I hope more are to come.
Kate Dickerson has a new line of rainbow foods including soft-serve ice cream, a cake, and a snowcone. Skooter’s Designs has new letter jackets and new Paris and London signs. Cooper Oaks has new sayings with lovely Provencal prints borders. SCT Designs has new prints. These designs, available from Colonial Needle, fit many of the Lee leather goods. Finally, Judy Tasch has round canvases for grandparents. You can choose from several names and colors.
