I just got back this mini-sock from finisher Susan Thompson (check out her site at: http://susant-thefinisher.blogspot.com/.

Isn’t it just too cute?
It’s another one of the projects in the Bargello book. This one is mathematical in how the pattern was determined, every single one of the lines has an odd number of steps. The pattern starts in the upper left corner and just keep going, no repeats.
It sounds MUCH harder than it is. I used three colors of thread, but there is no reason why you couldn’t use a light to dark pattern or even shades of several colors which blend into each other.
