If you send your needlepoint out to be finished the deadlines are fast approaching. of course, I’m massively behind. The good news is that at least I have all the ornaments for my family; the last ones arrived this week.
I have been struggling with the little black dress ornament and have cut out the stitching three times. I think I finally have a plan I can stick with. it’s my main project for today.
Next up will be a small two-sided Noh mask for my son, who loves Japanese art. It will be all Tent so it should go quickly. A music ornament for my DH will be another Tent project. I should note that even when I do all Tent I use many different threads.
The worrisome one is the woven ribbons shift for my youngest daughter. That’s going to require some thought.
It’s all complicated by the on-going remodel/reorganization of my office. I’m through with the threads and canvases but still have to finish the books. The we pause, and I can work in here, until the floor is ready to be laid. Then it’s out again for a few days.
The worst part is that the contents off the office take up my living room and I can’t find anything. I think tomorrow I’m going to have to have a major mounting party. For threads I’m mostly using what has not been put away. It may be one of the few times where being lazy has been a good idea.
