Christos anesti!
That’s Greek for “Christ Is Risen.” If you prefer Latin, it’s ” Christus resurrexit! Vere resurrexit!” and means “Christ is risen! He is truly risen!”
Happy Easter to you!
Being the wife of a choir director, this means getting to Mass an hour early to wait during practice. In keeping with the feast this day is (the Church celebrates it for 8 days) my Sunday stitching is this pretty cross from Lee Needle Arts. I like the clear blue colors and will be stitching it using Essentials and metallics.
At home I am also going to work on this Anne Fisher insert. It’s all Tent, so it’s my stress release project.
Easter blessings to you all!

Lovely piece but Greek Pascha is next week. In the meantime Kalo Pascha. (have a good Pascha)
Janet M Perry says
I know that. One of my best friends is a Russian Orthodox priest. But the Latin Church still uses some Greek & it is an approved liturgical language.
Happy Easter,
Janet
