It’s a truism in the needlework world that hand-dued threads are not colorfast. Many of us discover just how true this is by bitter experience. I, for one, have had several bad experiences so I have finally learned this.
Things are changing, as Donna over a Needleworker Not in Paradise has found. Recently she was putting out a new order and found the hand-dyed threads are now marked “colorfast.”
She has also seen this on other lines of thread. Read her blog post to find out more about this.
