Why is it that deadlines “loom?” Could it be that when you are working with a deadline you feel as if the Sword of Damocles is hovering over your head? Couldn’t they be a tiny bit nicer and just lurk?
That’s me right now. I have a deadline and because it’s tomorrow there is no Sunday stitching for me. Plus I need to read my book for our Book Club, which is Saturday night.
I’d love stressless stitch today because they tile the new bathroom this week. That means no toilet and keeping the door shut to keep the cats out. I am promised the toilet will be back in by Friday but the tiling goes on for another week.
Once nice things is that we had homemade doughnuts this morning for breakfast. My friend, Annie, has a home baking business and she makes delicious cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and doughnuts. When she posted the picture of these on Facebook we ordered them for today. If you live in the Bay Area, check her out at Miss Whisk Bakery, you won’t be sorry.
I will be so glad to have my bathroom back again!

We just had a bathroom remodel finished. A “few days” turned into 3 weeks because of little unforseen problems that cropped up! Thank goodness we had the guest bathroom to use. It was worth it though – the bathroom is so pretty and feels so clean. Best wishes to your remodel…
