Backgrounds. No matter how advanced a stitcher we might be or how many stitches we know, we still search for and puzzle over background stitches.
I know, I still have this problem after nearly 50 years of creating needlepoint. In spite of the shelves of books I have and hundreds of stitches diagrammed on my computer.
25 Background Stitches will begin September 15. The first two email lessons will give you the stitches, helping you create a stitch notebook to be a permanent reference for you. The final lesson has an entirely new stitch sampler, similar to the earlier ones pictured in this article.
You’ll get all this wonderful instruction, along with a project, for only $29. That’s just a bit over $1 per stitch making it a great bargain in needlepoint instruction. Other on-line background classes cost 2-3 times as much and teach 10-15 stitches. In-person classes cost about the same. You’ll love the excitement and originality these new stitches will bring to your needlepoint.

This class will give you great new ideas for your needlepoint, ideas you’ll want to use right away. It’s a class anyone can take because it’s sent to you in monthly email lessons as PDF attachments. You won’t need to join any groups, use special software, or watch videos. You have everything you need to take the class !
I find great new stitches for backgrounds all the time and I’ll share them with you in this email class. 25 Background Stitches i is the first of two classes devoted to background stitches in the current series of 25 Stitches classes. You can sign up for it using PayPal or a major credit card using the button below.
