There will be lots of new products announced late next month in conjunction with the Dallas Market, but that doesn’t mean we are without some lovely late summer announcements. Learn about great new items and visit your LNS to buy them.
As we wrote in our posts about TNNA Gail Vail is back. These designs are distributed by the same company that distributes Needledeeva, if your shop is wondering where to find them.
Laura Perin has a new project out, Arabesque, that’s in soft rose with muted olive accents. Treenway Silks has a thread pack out for DebBee’s Baskets,Blooms, & Butterflies design that was featured in the May ’15 Needlepointers magazine
The Kirk & Bradley collection of party animals has expanded with new friends such as Li’l Prairie Dawg. They also have a new snowglobe of a whale sporting a Santa cap. There are also pillow versions of the delightful city ornaments that came out this winter.
JulieMar has a trio of new mermaids named for the Andrews Sisters. They also have a lovely new floral of poppies by Julie herself. It is also available as a 5″ square design with just two of the blooms on it.
FA Edmonds is now making adjustable stretcher bars in four sizes. The bars slide to make different sizes and can be adjusted with your canvas on them. Doodlin’ Around Design has added a thread easel to their line that will hold both a stitch guide plus your threads. It sits on a table.
Classic Colorworks has added two new floss colors: Rose Petal and Strawbrry Parfait. Dinky Dyes has 6 new colors of silk Perle in 3 different sizes. New colors include Stormy Sky, Lilac, Bunya Cone, and French Press.
&More has seven 3″ rounds with silhouettes that can be customized with your initial. They are also now distributing canvases of designs by Rosanne Beck who is known for her lines of paper products and tableware.
Jean Smith as two new 14″ pillows in bright warm tropical colors. Related canvases include a set of coasters and two smaller 8″pillows. There is also a new set of four designs called Garden Jewels that has flowers drawn in black with bright accents.
If you like silk gauze projects or are looking for something unique for your dollhouse, how about a pair of Christmas slippers? This charming kit is from Natalia’s Fine Needlework. Painted Pony is now distributing needlepoint canvases from the artwork of Diane Ulmer Pedersen. She’s known for her vibrant colors and idyllic landscapes. the canvases I’ve seen are just lovely with a nice blend of folk art style and sophisticated detail.
CBK has a line of canvases that look like needlepoint renditions of fabrics. These would make outstanding accent pillows. They also have a new canvas from get the point that has a woody station wagon with surfboard and trailer ready for vacation. Melissa Prince has a lovely floral clutch purse out. The Impressionistic floral is on the front with a lattice pattern for the inside and back.
Beginning today and going through the 19th, Norden Crafts is having an on-line show for shops. While most of the products are for Cross Stitch, there are new designs from Threedles and DebBee’s Designs. One of Threedles new designs is a pendant and cuff.
Ashley Dillon’s series of march canvases has a new entry, Beach March. It’s distributed by Susan Roberts. Handblessings has a lovely new charted design of a red tulip. It has a stained glass feel. You’ve probably seen (and loved) the sets of Asian ladies from Lee Needle Arts. Did you know there are two series of the larger set as well as a smaller set with just three ladies?
The Daylight Company is making a stand to hold your frame as well as their lamp. Canvasworks has a new series of initial ornaments with a Royal Stewart tartan in the background. Voila has a new series of luggage tags that come in several colors and can be stitched with a monogram or your own design.
