Both last week and this week I’m doing lots of running around. Too many appointments and obligations are keeping me busy. That can mean waiting and waiting for me always means needlepoint. I was so glad I had when I had to wait 30 minutes for my blood test.
I was so jazzed by the flamingo name tag I made that I decided to look for more small items I could stitch and finish quickly. I found this dinosaur from Julia’s that’s 2″ square. It’s too big for the keychain but I’m stitching it to try out some little wooden frames from Hungary.
The dinosaur is stitched in Tent using Kreinik holographic orange ribbon. The background is using Dinky Dyes silk floss and a textured stitch of some kind.
Even on stretcher bars it’s small enough to fit into my small project bags and into my purse. Considering how hard it rained this week, that’s very good.
