Elsa Williams was an amazing and inventive needlework teacher. Her book Bargello, was instrumental in teaching me and thousands of others this great technique. I still have and treasure my hardback copy. I bought my initial copy in 1972 and have stitched many pieces from it.
During an EGA Seminar in San Francisco, private tours of Elsa’s home were made available. A blogger was able to go on the tour and has made a long post with tons of pictures of the teacher’s lovely work.
