Renaissance Designs has an adorable Alpine Village canvas that’s complete with snow-covered peaks and ski lifts in the background. They also have a fun new canvas featuring 20 dogs and 3 cats (I think it should be the opposite myself). Kangaroo Paw has two new lines that feature state outlines. One indicates that you are a “semi-native.” The other has the name of each state’s iconic college twon.
Raymond Crawford has added two new three-car trains to his line-up — the Princess Trains. There’s one for Cinderella that includes the pumpkin coach as a car. The other one, for Snow White, has a locomotive that looks like a Tudor cottage. He also has a Sixties canvas celebrating Peace, Love, and Music in the bright colors and mixed fonts of the period. Alice Peterson has a new New York City canvas that features bright balloons ascending in front of well-known landmarks.

These short metal trees are designed to display your stitched wine charms prettily There are two themes: seashore and Christmas. Purnell Custom Leather (maker of beautiful needlepoint belts) has added a calf leather valet try to their offerings. It holds a square canvas and is very lightweight.
&more has new canvases including single and three-letter monograms. I love the three-letter ones which are in a stream-lined Art Deco style. They also have some boxy 3-D animals, including a grey bunny for Easter. Another delightful canvas from the is the French Graffiti American flag. It’s a wonderful candidate for shadow stitching, which was done on the model. To their line of sayings they have added a new custom canvas, one pointing to your place with the exact latitude and longitude. If it’s for a school it will be in the school colors.
Pepperberry continues to add new breeds to their series of dogs in Santa hats. The newest one is Coton de Tulear. They have also added 3-D Easter eggs to their line. A new ornament from Pepperberry features a piglet all wrapped up in a striped scarf. Speaking of pigs, CBK has a larger pig canvas with a pig at a bar next to a beer. The saying on the canvas is great: “Beer . . . because you can’t drink bacon.” Laurie Furnell has a new building for her Santa Village — snow factory. All the canvases in this series fit in tracks from Deux Bijoux.
Chris Lewis Distributing, representing Needledeeva, pajamas and Chocolate and others, has two new tribute American flags out, one for Fire/Rescue and one for First Responders. Get on the unicorn bandwagon with their new mini-sock that features stars and a rainbow along with a unicorn with a colorful mane. It would delight any unicorn-crazy girl. The Meredith collection has added ornament sizes of several of their most popular Charley Harper designs. They also have a delightful canvas of colorful lobster buoys against a rustic wood wall.
Attention cross stitch lovers! Two favorite needlepoint designers, Kelly Clark and Raymond Crawford are making some of their designs available as cross stitch charts. Kelly’s charts are distributed by Colonial Needle. Raymond’s are distributed by Imaginating. Let your cross stitching friends know. in charted needlepoint, Handblessings has a charming ornament featuring Smyrna Crosses.
Leigh’s newest canvases are large beautiful crosses on black canvas. They are based on historic crosses and are embellished with jewels to stitch. I just love these. They also have several adorable 3×5 candy canes, including a patriotic one. Deux Amis has a new canvas with characters from the popular Highlander series.
Rainbow Gallery has plenty of new colors out including five new shades of Neon Rays+, including a light copper and a very pale yellow.
BB Needlepoint has added five new 3″ round ornaments to their line in a variety of styles. My favorite is the triangular Christmas tree in white and gold against a red-and-white checked background. The tree has a bunch of wrapped presents in cool colors as a great accent. They also have new stockings in a small size, 10.5″ inches. These would be great as decorations or “Grandma” stockings.
Kangaroo Paw and Beth Gantz have teamed up to a great self-finishing piece. Canvases for sororities aare sized to put into the Itty Bitty boxes from Beth. The single opening ones can use a shield canvas, while the three-opening ones can have the sorority’s letters.
