Are you planning some airline travel soon? Stitching is one fantastic way to pass the long hours at the airport and on the plane. I have often had people stop me at the airport and comment on how calm I look when everyone around me is nuts because the flight has been delayed, again.
But cutting threads is always a problem. It’s made worse because different countries have different rules about what is allowed. In the US, for example you can use short scissors, but not disk thread cutters. In the UK, it’s just the opposite.
Australian stitcher, Yvette Stanton, has some great advice on her blog, along with a list of the top 7 cutting tools for trips. Some of these will work anywhere, including other places where it’s windy or where there isn’t much space.
