In my reading this week I came across two great posts about framing yourself. Neither of them are exactly for needlepoint, but I think both would work.
The first is from Mary Corbet’s Needle n’Thread blog. It’s a detailed and illustrated tutorial on using pins to mount needlework. The tutorial uses a miniature embroidery but I don’t see why you couldn’t do this with needlepoint.
If you have done so, let us all know in the comments.
The second tutorial from Designer Trapped in a Lawyer’s Body, uses artist stretcher bars to make a frame. I loved this idea! Once you have them painted up, you would never know how inexpensive they were.
All this gives me motivation to frame up some stuff. Not that I have wall space for it.
