Yes, it’s a bit late to do this, but don’t you just love this vintage-style design from Shirley Hudson.
It was referenced on Craft Gossip.
This vintage style can be converted to needlepoint easily because of the uncomplicated shapes. You could keel it very simple by only stitching the black lines on a darning pattern background. That would be the needlepoint equivalent of the hand embroidery pattern.
You could make it fancier by Filling in the pumpkin and the J with great stitches in orange threads in addition to the black lines.
