This week has, I’m afraid, been consumed with many things that have taken up far too much of my time when I would rather have been doing something else (like stitching). I’m sure good will come of it in the end.
I want to highlight some small things in today’s post.
Today is the last day to use your coupon on my Thinkific classroom. I still have a few left. Just use the coupon code glorious10 when you check out to get 10% off a class. The coupon expires tonight.
Find the classroom here.
Next to be added to the classroom, probably next month, will be classes that need specific canvases. After that several project-based classes will be added from my archive.
In the fall, I hope, I will be starting the roll-out of classes on specific painted canvases. These classes will be for the beginner/intermediate level of stitcher and will cover a wide range of designs. In most cases you will be able to order the canvas from your local shop and get it in plenty of time for the class.
The Needlepoint News blog is updated four times a day and continues to grow. It’s the only on-line source where you’ll find information about sales, trunk shows, retreats, and classes. I’ll also update you on shop news, such as moves, special events, or new store hours.
But the news is only as good as the information I get. Am I getting information from your shop or guild. If not, please use the address below to add me to your list.
Pinterest is all about the eye candy and I have lots of it there, over 28,000 pins, most of it needlepoint. I ate this elephant by pinning every day. But this week I split up my Needlepoint Inspiration board by creating several new inspiration boards and then reorganized the order of boards to put the emphasis on eye candy.
Visit me there and you’ll find my huge collection of needlepoint eye candy front and center. There are more than a dozen boards of stitched needlepoint and canvases followed by boards of free projects, finishing ideas, instructions, stitches, and lots more.
Following that come my inspiration boards. They are not in any particular order, but I tried to put similar boards next to each other. For example. Charley Harper and mid-century modern art are together. These boards do not contain pictures of needlepoint. They are things I saw that inspire me, my on-line idea notebook.
The end of that section has the boards where there are several covering the same subject, such as quilts or nativities.
Next come the boards devoted to other kinds of needlepoint and assorted charts. Many of the boards include charts only of a specific type. I try to pin only whole stitch charts, so they all should be suitable for needlepoint.
The eye candy mostly ends there. Following that are ideas for my house, recipes, and assorted other boards.
If you are on Pinterest take a look, there’s lots to love!
