Barbara Bergsten has posted two more stitches for her delightful Stitch Your Stress Away sampler.
They are:
Diagonal Hungarian Ground “Hungarian Ground” is one of those stitch names which always confuse me. It never seems really to fit the isolated Hungarians in a field of zigzags. But no matter what you call it, I love this diagonal variation of the stitch. You might also think of it as Byzantine-Mosaic. It’s quite pretty and I think I’ll use it quite soon.
Framed Cashmere Stitch You are probably familiar with adding a border around square stitches to frame them, but you can do the same thing with rectangular stitches such as Cashmere. It’s a great idea as you can see from this patch.
