I have rarely found a needleworker who exclusively did one type of needlework. Sure they may stick pretty closely to one, but usually they do others.
The bad thing is that each of them has unique tools. Trying to store everything together can make it hard to find things and can increase the mess and your frustration.

I can say she is very organized
Thanks Janet, I got this organization from my mother. She always had the right tools for whatever project she was doing; she might even have more than one set of tools if she was working on several projects. I am not as organized as she was, but I try to keep tools for a technique together. Sometimes I get pretty spread out and projects will overlap and I my stitching area or desk will be a total mess.
And I am a tool or gadget person…love the tools of the trade…I’m that way about kitchen gadgets too.
