As beading gets more popular, our stashes of beads multiply. And this leads to problems. First there is the problem of beads spilling when you open the package. Then there is the problem of keeping them both safe and accessible while you use them. Finally there is the problem of storing them.
And if this isn’t enough to worry about there are issues of cost.
In a recent article on Needle n’Thread Mary Corbet talks about all these things. She shows us how to open a Mill Hill bead package, shares her methods of using and storing beads and brings us some bead price comparisons.

I agree with every word you said about the packaging of Mill Bead. Please, where did you get the pictured storage container. Looking for storage ideas for the beads for my cross stitch projects.
Thank you

It’s the Elizabeth Ward Bead Storage System. It is available in different sizes on Amazon.
Keep stitching,
