Your LNS is not open, or has shortened hours, or only has appointments weeks away.
You are still waiting on threads for a canvas.
All the finishing deadlines for your recently completed Christmas projects have passed.
Your ZOOM class has been postponed because the kits can’t be sent out.
Your guild chapter can’t meet.
Is this the “new normal?” It might not be so, but it certainly is the case right now. Ruth Schmuff has a great post explaining what’s happening and giving us advice on what our stitching plans should be.
I’d add one bit of additional advice. Because supplies of canvases are spotty, shops have gotten really good about letting you know if something is in stock. If the website does not tell you this, call or email to ask. Then you will be able to decide if you want to wait or not. Meanwhile take Ruth’s advice and stitch from stash!
If you have canvas and plenty of thread, look at the great Scrap Bag Needlepoint projects, you can find on Nuts.
