
Stitch Style has two new Fall rounds, one a lovely design of fields in autumn colors. Abigail Cecile has introduced three lovely bauble ornaments with delicate colors. Jenny Henry has added 4″ rounds of her Nordic designs. These are available through her website. Penny Linn has new canvases for Halloween. These include several vintage-inspired designs and embellished letter canvases for Halloween and Autumn. I just love the colors in Autumn as I’m feeling starved for fall.
New from Danji are spooky treat bags with Halloween icons. New destination candy cane include several cities. There is a new series of pattened Christmas trees witg popular items on them, including nutcrackers, angels, and elves. There is a new Train with a locomotive, two cars, a caboose, and a depot. Fun for Halloween are six haunted houses, slightly bigger than ornament size. Finished as stand-ups, these would be a great tabletop decoration.
There is a new series of envelopesfrom Danji, open and bursting with items for different holidays. Laurel Burch has new presents canvases available singly or as a group. There are also lots of animal and flower canvases from a new fine artist. Finally, two more of Janet Zickler Casey’s popular Santas have made their debut.
The Meredith Collection has brought out several of Charley Harper’s popular designs in a new size — 5 inch rounds. Colors of Praise has new two-sided glasses cases witn flamingoes in several styles and a lovely lipstick round. Rebecca Wood has lots of lovely ornament rounds, including an elegant ballerina. Kate Dickerson has a charming round of a pink church with “faith” written underneath. It’s by licensed artist Julia Eves. Another design by Eves is a nutcracker with pine trees around him.
Jean Smith has added close-up potraits of several daisy-like flowers to her line including a coneflower, a gerbera daisy, and a sunflower. Lauren Bloch has a new round of one of my favorite landmarks — the Dusquesne Incline in Pittsburgh. It includes a lovely skyline in the background. She also has new needle minders of several of her canvases. Stitch Rock has a canvas of whimsical Christmas tress in chic modern colors. They also have a tree of stacked books, reading “One more chapter.” The always clever Scott Church has a mini sock of polar bears fishing. It’s available from CBK.
KCN has 24 two inch squares available individually or as a set to make an Advent calendar. They also have a new nativity set from Stitch-its, the designer of the popular angels. The set includes the stable. This would be a lovely project for a beginning stitcher or to use as a showcase for stitches. I love their new set of Mah Jong coasters, four sayings in all. There are also coaster-size designs with tiles on them as well as individual dragon tile canvases.
KCN’s designer, Sailor Stitches, has a set of baby blocks canvases. The set is four canvases with four blocks each. Use them as a clever way to show the child’s age in pictures. The sets are available in pink, blue, or neutral. Sailor Stitches also has three inch rounds with simple nautical designs. From KCN’s designer SCT is a new silverware pouch, available in two colors. These have matching napkin rings canvases.
Needle Crossings has two lovely rounds of humingbirds. Patty Paints has new rounds including skating and hula girls and a Golden Gate Bridge. A Stitch in Time has a fun new canvas of ten coloful birds, full of great patterns. It would be a fun canvas for trying lots of techniques and embellishments. Another canvas from the company has five triangle Christmas trees, each with a diferent pattern. Zecca has a lovely new undersea canvas with clown fish, coral, and sea anemones. Another Zecca canvas depicts five whimsical roosters.
PLD has new landscapes and filagree floral designs, Their licensed artist, Kamala, has a new series of ladies lounging at the pool or on the beach. Elizabeth Crane Swartz has a new stripes design that is available in several shapes. She also has a glyph canvas with lots of different black letters on white. Cate La Vie has new champagne bottles that are inspired by classic patterns such as cane seating or a garden trellis. There are also two new designer-inspired bottles.
