Ann Kaye has a small, 3×5, lobster canvas, available in red or light blue. Hedgehog has eighteen new destinations, two redesigns of current tags, and two new holiday tags. In a partnership with Kangaroo Paw, Hedgehog has seventeen new tags for sororities. Kelly Clark has new patterned bunny silhouettes, a new Christmas floral, and a new mermaid. She also has new eggs, and a lovely canvas with a collection of blue-and-white vases.
New from Eye Candy is an adorable round of a cat reaching its paw out from under a chair. I love this canvas because it reminds me of my first cat, who was noted for doing this. The company has two new colorways for its popular Puzzle Piece canvas. The design is available in both 13 and 18 mesh. A new colorway is also available for some of her geometric ornaments. Finally, Pumpkin Squad is a new series of four silly Jack o’Lanterns. You can get them individually or as a group.
Morgan Julia has a new pill and a new boat canvas. I love her new “Seeing Doubles” glasses case. The company also has a cheery new square pillow with yellow shells. NPJ has canvases that go with recipe boxes. The box is self-finishing in navy or grey with a charming print on the inside. The boxes come with a canvas, recipe cards, and dividers. There are 18 canvases available to go in them.
Stitch Style has a new baby ornament. It has a flying stork carrying a precious bundle in pink or blue. Another new canvas has cookies and milk for Santa. A new canvas from Kimberley Smith, distributed by Ruth Schmuff, is called Luna Hamsa. It has a Luna Moth on the hamsa with ribbonwork flowers in the background. Oasis Needlepoint has a great new canvas called “Giraffe Tree.” On it, you’ll find a giraffe neck with branches at the top that are full of small giraffe heads.
Patti Mann’s newest 3-D animal is a sting ray. His body is patterned, and his tail is black. She also has a new gingerbread house. Needlepoint to Go has new ornament rounds of Charleston houses and landmarks. The company also has some new sayings. Needlepaint has a new collection of Faberge-inspired eggs. The canvases have flowers and/or jewels on colored backgrounds. Mimi in Stitches has new luggage tag shapes based on song titles. Elm Tree Needlepoint has a charming new round ornament for a first home. They also have a colorful rectangular canvas with a stack of three owls.
Kirk & Bradley has five new travel rounds, including Boston Public Garden and four overseas destinations. There are three new tropical undersea ornaments and a belt and key fob featuring Charleston’s Rainbow Row. Walker’s Wholesale has a lovely nativity panel. The Salty Stither’s new canvases include a lemonade stand and rounds with “merry” and “bright” on them. Patricia Sone has a figgy pudding round and a lovely heart to bless a child.
A new designer to me, Prairie Designs Needlepoint, has two new colorful love canvases, one a heart. With flowers and other small motifs, these will be fun to stitch. Judy Tasch has a patriotic truck and a new love in a heart tattoo-style canvas. The Studio has added lots more travel suitcases. The Collection has a new Home canvas where the O is interchangeable with any of the 12 monthly rounds. Melissa Prince has added a new series of land animals to her Abstract Animals series, joining the sea creatures. My favorite of these is the hippo.
Whimsy & grace has lots of lovely William Morris-inspired designs, including pumpkins, cases, and tote bags. The company’s popular damask designs are available in new colors and new designs, including pumpkins and tote bags. A charming new scissors case has a sunflower on one side and gingham on the other.
Valdani has a new color in its thread. It’s semi-solid in a rich, deep red-violet. Rainbow Gallery has brought back two older white threads: alabaster and winter. Both are metallic blends. Capri is now available in a thicker version, Capri 13. There are 50 colors available.
