Today we’ll stitch the eraser. It’s stitched with one strand of pink Baroque Silk. if you have not stitched with this thread before, you may think that it’s too thin to cover, but it does.
The eraser is stitched in Nobuko. It’s a fantastic stitch but often it can be confusing. The way to make it easy to do is to set up the first row. I do this by starting either at one edge of the area, in this case it wil at the flange end stitched towards the eraser’s end.
I begin by stitching a row where the longer stitches are only partial, below. I turned the canvas so that the flange was at the bottom.
With this row in place, it’s easy to fit in the second row, below. From there you can asily fill in the eraser.
