I want this crow, from My Pink Sugar Life, to be silhouetted against a clear blue sky. Because the canvas is white, not colored, stitches with big open spaces won’t work, but stitches with open single intersections give that looser feel that’s so great for backgrounds. I picked one of the soil stitches from Stitch Landscape for the background. I call it Wackyland, below, after my favorite Looney Tunes cartoon. I made the diagram in two colors to make the rows easier to see.
