Many of us struggle to figure out ways to control the color in overdyed threads. And for many of us, the process is so traumatic that we restrict using these threads to geometric and abstract designs only.
For a piece exhibited at the recent ANG National Seminar in Washington DC, Melita showed the lovely Brick Stitch landscape pictured above. Believe it or not she stitched it with only a single overdyed thread.
