Yesterday I decided that I needed to get some of my stitched but not finished items (could we call them SNF – Stitched Not Finished) done and out into the world. This was inspired by finding the Lee Flowers pictured above. I knew it would fit into the black leather rectangular tray I had from Lee. Once that was found it inspired some other quick finishes.
A small acorn from Painted Pony got finished in the top of a natural wood cube. Because the bottom is removable, I think I’m going to put some pebbles into an organdy bag and turn it into a paperweight.
I also bought a couple of the Whimzi frames from Just Nan (no longer made). One of them is getting the house square above and the other a Mindy mini to make quick Christmas gifts.
I also finished a box with my tree of hearts and got out my other finishing box and some boxes of finished stitching to finish some other things. Accomplishing this makes me feel good.
