Recently Jane Wood had a guest post by Frank Hyatt of HP Designs on her blog.
Frank is an absolutely delightful person. His history in needlepoint begins with the purchase of the smallest needlepoint store I have ever seen, Elaine Magnin Needlepoint (my closet is twice its size).
From this shop they opened an early Internet store and then began a wholesale line after selling the shop.
Frank is retiring from the business and many of his designs have been licensed to other companies.
With 30 years of working in the industry he has a unique perspective and has some thought-provoking ideas in this post.
