There are so many great ways to finish pillows. But it’s so easy to get stuck in a rut with what we want. You’ll love this blog post from Quail Run in Phoenix which tells and shows us some great examples.

I’ve got several small needlepoints (3X3) that I want to place as the center of pillows. Directions??
Janet M Perry says
You can certainly inset smaller needlepoint into a larger iece of fabric to make a pillow front/ I’ve seen three ways to do this. The first is to aplique the needlepoint to the front of an already-made pillow. The second is to sew strips of fabric to each side of the needlepoint to make the pillow front (this will have seams on the front. The third is to create what’s essentially a hole, with turned under edges, in the front and to attach the needlepoint to be underside of the front. This will create a front without seams.
Once the front is made it can be finished like a regular pillow.
Keep stitching,
Janet
