I love this idea I got from Stitch by Stitch’s blog. One of their customers, Eileen, needed yo make a bunch of ornaments, all personalized. Like most of us she didn’t want to do the same thing over and over.
Instead, using the same shape and many red and green threads, so stitched each one in a different stitch. At the top a white band has the names.
Don’t want to do mini-socks? Pick another shape and use the same idea. I was thinking rounds that could go into self-finishing frames. If you wanted to personalize them, add the names with tags. Or use any shape you like.
I’m thinking I might do this with all those wooden and metal frames I have and give them as gifts.
See them up close on the shop’s blog.
