Amber works at Village Needleworks in Omaha and is a speed stitcher. Her friend, Jan Vrana, writes The French Tangerine blog and took us on a profusely illustrated tour of Amber’s house and her wonderful needlepoint.
We all probably wish we had that much needlepoint stitched, finished and on display (I know I do).
Thanks to Jane Wood for pointing this out.

Where to start? I LOVE the dining room chairs, and the bowl of candy!!! I’ve seen the flowers for the chairs with E. Bradley (or very similar) but I have never seen the candy before. I wonder where she got those? I go in spurts, on stitching and finishing projects. I am able to complete more during the summer and vacation times away from teaching full time. She is SUCH an inspiration!!!! And it seems that every thing is placed, grouped, displayed, and hung to perfection and/or in the perfect spot. What a VERY talented lady!!! I am in awe and wish I knew her personally. THANK YOU FOR SHARING! I will visit this tour often to get inspired!

I’ve seen the candy bars or something similar from Squigee and I also saw them at Needlepoint, Inc. in San Francisco. Unhappily, they never have any of our family’s favorites so while I’m tempted I’ve never stitched any.
Keep stitching,
Janet
