I’m looking for suggestions for our collective wisdom as a stitching community. I got a stash of threads and partially completed canvases from a lady in my area. Two of the pieces are lovely large Christmas stocking. One is by Peter Ashe and the other is from Liz. The Liz one is all Tent; the Peter Ashe one has simple decorative stitches.
Although I have not gone through all the thread, I probably have thread to finish them.
The owner would like to find some who could stitch these.
It used to be that I could send folks to Ghoststitchers, but they are no more.
So I’m seeking wisdom. How do I find people to complete the work? Leave your suggestions in the comments section.

Needlepoint Nation has a stash exchange on FB that’s quite popular and active. (As does Needlepoint Nation, the group on FaceBook.) I would inquire there.

I have finished lots of canvases for the store. I would be glad to finish the stockings.

Get in touch with some of the needlepoint stores in the area (Needlepoint Inc, City Needlework, Luv 2 Stitch, Come to the Point). They may know of people who will stitch the stockings for a price. Certainly, they know people who stitch their samples. If the owner can’t afford to hire a Stitcher and prefers a volunteer, get in touch with a local needlework guild.
