I Barbara Bergsten’s Stitch your Stress Away project, the next patch is Scotch Stitch. It’s a charming Framed Scotch in violet and light green (a nice Spring color combination for gray days).
Then Summer Truswell’s Stitch of the Week is Scotch. She shows off five lovely variations.
Scotch is one of my favorite stitches. Winter Stars, the current Come Stitch with Me Project, uses a variation of Scotch for the blocks.
I also have a page of Scotch Stitch variations on All about Needlepoint.
So have some fun with this great stitch!
