A stunning new JP Needlepoint has lovely decorated eggs on stands, many in the typical Ukrainian style. There are plenty of beachy Santa canvases. They include a Christmas tree decorated with shells, Santa sunbathing, and two rounds with a Speedo-clad Santa from front and back. A new canvas from Doolittle is a beach pillow, that’s a patchwork of small motifs including beach chairs, sailboats, and more. Hedgehog has nine new retro tags and is now adding stitch guides to the line.
Morgan Julia has three new drink canvases, including my adult beverage of choice, a gin & tonic. She also has bar carts for several more holidays, including one for Derby Day. There is a new Happy pill that coordinates with the popular Chill pill. Easter cookies are the newest canvas in the slice & bake cookies series. There is a toile-like canvas called “Floridays,” which has flamingo alligators, and shells. If you love The Life Aquatic, you’ll go nuts for the designer’s Sea Explorer round.
Hello Tess has a new baby announcement canvas, available in pink or blue with a onesie and a gingham border. Another new canvas is a brick cover with a village around all four sides. Initial K Studio has a new set of nautical canvases in two shades of blue. You can get them as a set on a single canvas or as individual coasters. Colors of Praise has two dramatic canvases of dinosaurs. The company has several canvases with different animals against backgrounds that look like printed fabrics.
Ditto Needlepoint Works, a new designer to me, has a folk-art style. The company’s canvases feature lots of flowers and animals. Evergreen Needlepoint has a great series of constellations, including all of the zodiac signs. You can also get the Big & Little Dippers. They would be so cool for star-gazers or astronomers. Leigh has added two lovely squares to her series of Chinese-inspired designs. She also has two sweet cherubs on dark green canvas set in ovals. One is carrying a wreath, the other holds a harp.
Sandra Gilmore has a new Santa who is holding a candy cane. She also has a lovely canvas of a pair of oriental poppies with a bee. It’s designed to be finished as a rectangular box pillow. A final new canvas from this designer is a bunch of pink sweet peas. New canvases from Jean Smith include a group of early spring flowers, pansies, dutch iris, and a glorious violet dahlia. Several new canvases feature animals among the flowers. These include a Panda with pansies and twin tigers. Judi & Co has new sayings, including one with yoga for the mind on a striped background.
A new brick cover from The Meredith Collection features the Rainbow Row houses of Charleston around the sides with an old-fashioned horse and buggy on the top. A new belt features Kentucky craft breweeries. There are lots of new croakies canvas to finish for holding your sunglasses. Some of these include fishing bobs, sailboats, and flamingos as well a several geometric patterns in different colors. Also new is a set of fox hunting coasters. They also have new Christmas sassy sayings and a new series of 3-D houses with different themes.
