While the stitch Basketweave is named that because it looks like a woven basket on the back and there are plenty of other great stitches that have a woven look, Kelly Clark shows us a fantastic way to weave our own little baskets in this wonderful tutorial.
Now it’s not as easy as doing one of the woven stitches, but it isn’t too hard. The result is dimension (you can actually put things inside it), and a wonderful focal point for the piece.
And that makes it a technique with great impact.
