Star5ting today an appearing every Sunday, is our Summer SAL, using this Thanksiving canvass frm My Pink Sugar Life (availale here). Today we’ll start out simply by doing two ares in Tent Stitch.
Stitch the stem usinf drk brown (N52) Neon Rays. Because of the dark color, the shiny texture of this thread does not stand out.
Stitch the letters using white (PS21) Petite Sparkle Rays. Using this glittery thread will help the letters stand out. Stitching thr lettering before or after stitching the surrounding area is enturely your choice. For some stitchers having bare canvas makes it easier to count out the stitches.
For other stitchers, having the letters stitched first means they will look better because they don’t have to be squeexed in between othe stitches.
Next week, we’ll atitch the yellow patch on the left.
