I was able to get “Thank you” finished last Sunday because we postponed the movie until Wednesday. I love how it turned out.
I’m planning on having these finished as flats, as if they were ornaments and then putting the into frames that are 4×6 with decorative paper behind them. They will look as if they are floating in the frame.
I also got a nice Thank You note from my daughter’s roommate who was the person who got the cats.
It being Easter I am going to start on a new project. I’m going to stitch the Millefiori Cross from Designing Women.
It’s been in my stash a long time. I love the idea, but the colors on the canvas are much duller than these beads are in real life. I’ll replace the light blue with bright green, the metallic gold with yellow, and the navy with black. The red is a brighter true red. It will be Tent with a Blackwork background.
I’m going to stitch it all in Tent using Neon Rays, Flair and other shiny threads in bright colors like the actual glass cross pendants, above.
I figure I’ll make good progress because my DH has to be at Mass early tomorrow so the choir can practice.
It will be framed and join my collection of framed crosses.
Happy Easter to All! Alleluia! The Lord is risen!

For some reason, the pic isn’t opening for me and yours usually do. I’d love to see it if possible. Is anyone else having trouble?
Easter JOY to you and thank you for all your do for us needle pointers!

They both opened just fine for me. You might try again.
