Two designerws have put together great free designs for St. Valentine’s Day. SJ Designs has this round design full of small pretty hearts. Called Lucky in Love, it’s 41 stitches. The design is repeating so you can easily expand it to any size you like.
The Enriched Stitch has a wonderful free stitch guide for a VNG heart that features Rhodes Stitches as its focal point, The guide has diagrams for the stitches used. The canvas is fo VNG and can be ordered through your local shop.
