The folks from the San Diego Chapter of ANG have created a video about Laurel Burch, the late Berkeley artist whose designs are licensed for needlepoint by Danji. Jill Rigoli, one of Danji’s founders, and owner of Old Town Needlework in Scottsdale. The video also shows other Danji pieces and more in the shop.
It’s really cool to see the comparison between the original drawings and the needlepoint canvas.
Thanks to Jane Wood for pointing this out.

Hi Janet, Hope you and everyone around you are well. It has been ages since I visited your Web site with the so many things that each of us have experiences in the last few years. Still have a very old Jane Zimmerman Florentine Canvas Embroidery needlepoint pillow that is almost finished but is still sitting on its frame in front of my comfy chair and footstool. Will try to set aside some time every day until my piece is finished and then it can be professionally mounted onto a pillow (I have the fabric, thread and zipper), and join my other pillows on my sofa. Should only take 1 day or so. Have been knitting and also doing steady decluttering and downsizing in my apartment the last few years. (Sure have a lot of stuff! lol) Looking at the almost finished project (still have # more that are partly completed
it brings back very fond memories of you and also of Jane. Time does fly by…
Stay warm, dry, safe and happy..
