The New Jersey Needle Artists Chapter of ANG has a great post about yoga exercises for stitchers. You’ll find instructions for some exercises and links to others.
Thanks to Jane Wood for pointing this out.

Did it come apart at the edge as you were trying to finish it? Or did one or more threads get cut where you will be stitching. If it has come apart at the edges, you’ll just have to work around it. If it is cut where you will be stitching, it depends on what stitch you are using. If only a single thread is cut and your stitch will go over the thread (i.e. covering more than one thread), you can ignore it. If more than one thread is cut or the stitch covers only the cut threads, you will have to patch the canvas.
To do this, cut a small piece of the canvas a few threads bigger all around than the cut area. Unstitch any threads that are already made in the area where the patch will go.
Put the patch behind the canvas over the area, lining up the threads exactly. Stitch over the two layers of canvases at the edges first, so the canvas is locked in place and then moving towards the place that is cut.
Keep stitching,
Janet
