I’m in the early stages of a large project and I’m looking for model stitchers. The job is a relatively easy one — creating stitched samples of stitches. It will start, I hope, late this year.
Stitchers will need to stitch samples of stitches from diagrams. On 18 mesh they will be about 1-inch square. Stitchers can use their own stash so they have their preferred mesh size and type. Any non-fuzzy light to medium color of thread can be used. That means you can use your stash.
Stitchers will be assigned a given number of stitches to do and the deadline for completing them and sending them back to me for photography.
The number of stitches you will need to do depends on two things: the number of stitchers and the number of stitches.
If you would like to participate in this project, please contact me at the address above. If you have stitched for me in the past, please indicate the projects if you can. If you have not stitched for me in the past, let me know that in the email. I will follow-up with questions and will ask to see pictures of your work.
Stitchers on this project will receive credit in the publication and a copy of it when it’s complete. Since this is still in the planning stages, things mat change as I go along.
The only requirements for this project, other than being available (but there are long lead tomes) is that you can stitch from an unnumbered stitch diagram and that you are willing to learn new stitches.
I’m looking forward to working with you!

Nancy Green says
I would like to volunteer to stitch samples for you.
I am a decent stitcher. The fact that these samples are for someone orher than someone else would be an incentive to finish the sample in a timely fashion.
I have both fibromyalgia and Sjogren’s syndrome so I don’t attend many stitchy social events. This would be an ideal activity for me. Also to make a contribution to the stitching community.
Thanks
Nan/ Nancy
