Designers are announcing new products. Some of these are available now; others won’t be available until after the Needlepoint Reunion in October.
Moore Stitching has an adorable new canvas of the top of a Danish butter cookie tin. Also new from the designer is a series of bears holding balls for different sports and a series of puppies peeking over garden hedges. A new series from Eye Candy is ‘Pretty Spooky,” rounds of Halloween favorites in a cheerful pink and orange color scheme.
Nanci K’s new canvases include a “Bubbles for Breakfast” saying and a cassette mixtape. Stitch Style has added four new canvases from Alli Eagan Designs. They include a new saying, a charming flower-filled basket, lavender fields, and the bridge from Monet’s garden. Needlepoint to Go has six new globe trotter canvases for passport covers. These computer-printed designs feature cities around the world.
Wipstitch has added more states to its state stamp collection. I love the simple charm of these designs. Along with the state bird, you’ll also see the state flower in each 3.5×4.25 canvas. They come with stitch guides by Patricia Sone. You can also purchase vintage fabric from the Curious Cowgirl for finishing. The designer also has a new series of college rounds, 16 in all. The 4″ rounds are in the school’s colors.
Elizabeth Bradley’s newest kit is Provencal sunflower. A bold border of sunflowers surrounds a center in yellow and white. The large pillow is 24″ square. Morgan Julia has a new summer collection that includes three new needle threaders and eight new canvases. The canvases include four cocktail silhouettes, a new lighthouse, and a shell-patterned insert. Fire and Iris has several great new canvases, including a hiking map and a two-sided Airstream trailer ornament.
Penny Linn’s designers have been busy with lots of new canvases. There are tons of new designs for destinations, holidays, and more in the company’s fancy letters series. I just love the new locomotive in your choice of three colors. There are also new cars to go with them. Like my husband, urban transportation lovers will love the two streetcars and the San Francisco cable car. Plus, find tons of new key fobs, frames, and brick covers.
Jenny Henry has a new farm stand canvas for fall with pumpkins, apples, and other fall treats. New from Lycette are two pickleball canvases by Grace Carter. Choose from a racquet cover or a key fob. New from Stitch Style is a Brooklyn Bridge round. Coco Frank has added free stitch guides for the Florence and Boston travel rounds, available on their site.
Milan is a new silk & wool blend from Planet Earth. Thicker than Essentials, it will work on a 13-mesh canvas. It comes in 240 colors. Penny Linn is making acrylic trays for self-finishing. They are now available in several sizes. Choose from circles, squares, rectangles, or trays. Evergreen Needlepoint has new can cozies available in a dozen bright colors. Currently, these are only available for standard cans.
