Use the great self-finishing luggage tags from Planet Eart and threads from your srash to make this wonderful luggage tag. The one pictured above used a vintage tag. I’m making a second one to fit in te Planet Earth tag. The finished size is 2×3 inches.
To make the tag you’ll need:
- 6×7 piece of 18-mesh mono canvas
- Planet Earth luggage tag
- 2 threads in contrasting textures in the same color
- 2 threads in contrasting textures in a second color
- background color thread
Thr chart for stitching the tag is below. It’s in five different colors to make it easy to stitch. The stitches are mostly over four threads with a step of two threads.
This is the first of what I hope to be a dozen great Bargello luggage tags to be out as a book in Fall 2020.
