One of Kelly Clark’s delightful needlepoint clubs is a series of bee skeps. I freely admit I’m intrigued by this club because I adore every canvas I’ve seen from it.
But I don’t have time to finish what I already have, let alone get new stuff.
Kelly wanted to challenge herself, and us, by using new techniques in each of the pieces. That was all well and good when it came to the hives and their surroundings. But how many ways can you stitch a bee?
In a recent blog post, she shows us step-by-step how she created bees using needlefelting techniques. And are they ever cute!
