
How do you stitch curly hair?
I usually stitch French Knots over a lightly stitched Skip Tent background so the knots can be spaced looser. Or I might use Peluche for shorter hair. But if I wanted curly hair that didn’t look like a poodle I was stuck.
That’s until I read this great post by Sandra Arthur on how she uses Flair to create curly hair. As you can see from the picture it’s very effective. And because Flair comes in so many colors you can use it for stuffed animals, colorful wigs, or monsters.
