It’s the season for spooky things and using glow-in-the-dark threads can add another dimension to your seasonal needlepoint.
While the post is from a Cross Stitch blog and all the examples show Cross Stitch pieces, I just love rthe creative ideas in Kreinik’s recent guest post over at Mr. X Stitch.
What I loved about the post is that it went so nicely beyond the usual “Use it for Hallowe’en” idea. The ideas are general enough that you can apply them to all kinds of pieces. For example why not make the stars glow on a piece for a baby’s room? Or let the tooth fairy know right where to look by stitching part of that pillow using glow-in-the-dark threads?
You’ll come up with many more ideas after reading this post.
