Such a treat to see Erica’s work revered in this way. I met her at my very first trade show in 1993, and she went out of her way to encourage and endorse my work with historic British crewel work. She was my inspiration as a child, and my role model as a professional needleworker. We should all remember her and encourage new stitchers to enjoy our passion.
